The TAC Medical Society is a group of students who, while devoted to their liberal education, are also determined to go into dental, nursing, or medical schools. The Society is sponsored by the Career Center, and meets regularly during the school year.
Currently, we have four areas of interest: collecting resources, doing dissections to supplement the College's curriculum, preparing for the MCAT, and doing undergraduate research. Please look around, using the links above to browse the link list, make suggestions, or download some of the resources available.
At the close of the year we bid good-bye to our seniors, and look forward to pinging them with emails and bothering them by asking them for advice and information. Next year, we hope to continue dissecting, and begin building up a library of pre-health books by fundraising.
It's important to keep up with the health news globally and nationally. Check frequently to keep up-to-date on the latest advances, worries, and studies. News within the TAC Medical Society is a little quieter. It's summer break right now, so the Doc's Box is packed away and it's time for everyone to enjoy their summer!
May God bless everyone; have a safe and restful break. |
