The TAC Medical Society is a group of students who, while devoted to their liberal education, are also determined to go into dental, nursing, or medical schools. The Society is sponsored by the Career Center, and meets regularly during the school year.
Currently, we have four areas of interest: collecting resources, doing dissections to supplement the College's curriculum, lining up healthcare workers to lecture, and doing Socratic-method-style discussions. Please look around, using the links to the left to browse the link list, make suggestions, or download some of the resources available.
At beginning of a new year we welcome the new members that the fresman class has to offer, plus some returning students who've become interested. We are already planning our dissection for this year and have two speakers lined up; we also hope to begin building up a library of pre-health books by fundraising.
